11 years of Panic! at The Disco deep cuts
Panic! At The Disco have been around for over a decade and have a healthy four albums on the go. The band has seen MAJOR lineup changes in that time as well as sound changes but we remain Panic! till we die. Since we love them so much, we're exploring the Panic! deep cuts and counting down our favourite 5 non-singles from the last 10 years.
1) Behind The Sea
Pretty. Odd. is probably Panic! at The Disco's most underrated album (although it's probably their best one). There is something really jaunty and charming about 'Behind The Sea' both in its lyrical and technical composition. I would definitely say this is one of Panic's best tracks. Like ever.
2) London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines
This, I think is one of the strongest songs on Panic's debut record. It certainly is one of the more confident and interestingly composed tracks on A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. There are even industrial elements strewn in for the mid 2000s breakdown fanatics out there.
3) Always
I love this song because it is one of Panic's few implicitly romantic songs. Taken from their third record, Vices & Virtues, the boys really explored the workings of straight 'pop' songs on this release. A lot of this record might be sort of fleeting, but there is something perfect and sweet about 'Always'.
4) Mercenary
Sorry if this is geeky (please don't @ me) but, in 2011, Panic! contributed a song to the Batman: Arkham City soundtrack. Now, remember, this was 2011. Long past A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, but somehow they managed to recapture the feeling of the first record SEVEN years after it came out. Kind of great.
5) Collar Full
The Too Weird To Live To Rare To Die days were a weird time for everybody. This song combines the best of contemporary electronic elements with a quasi 80s situation. High BPM count and a steady drum beat make this one of the most enjoyable tracks from that record.

'Brendon SNAPPED in Roaring 20s OH MY GOD'
It's time to stand up sing Hallelujah if you're a Panic! fan as Brendon Urie and the gang dropped their sixth studio album, Pray For The Wicked today and it slaps. Hard.
It hasn't taken fans long to meme the album to high heaven. They're also excitedly tweeting out their favourite tracks from the album and there appears to be an early frontrunner for the album highlight: Roaring 20s.
In a recent interview, Brendon revealed how his time on Broadway lead to writing 'Roaring 20s'. 'I wrote a song about [Broadway] basically. It's called 'Roaring 20s' and, at 30-years-old, I just topped off my 20s by doing Broadway - just like everybody does! [laughs]'
It might have been one of the most challenging things Brendon has ever done but it was worth it in the end.
'It was so intense I almost cancelled the day before I threw out for it because I was having these anxiety attacks and I called my managers and I was 'Dude, am I suppose to go?' and he was like 'Yeah, it's too late to back out and that freaked me out more. Finally, he talked me off a ledge and I shut up and I was so glad I did. It was the most challenging thing I'd ever done at that point and the most rewarding because I was so freaked out and didn't know what to expect and then at the end of every show I felt so elated to be there. It was great.'
Well thank GOD he did overcome his anxiety, otherwise we wouldn't have had his amazing performance in Kinky Boots or this stand out track from Pray For The Wicked. Fans are going wild over the track.
Bold claims are being made.
